6, 2006 - The Governor's Ryder Cup State Dinner in
Frankfort, KY
The
PGA has announced that the Ryder Cup Tournament will
be held at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
On November 6th Governor Ernie Fletcher invited US
Team Captain Paul Azinger and his family, along with
other PGA officials to the state capitol in Frankfort,
Kentucky for a formal state dinner to celebrate his
choice as captain, and Kentucky's choice as host of
the 2008 event. I was invited to sing The Lord's
Prayer as a part of the event.

17, 2006 - CD Release Party at the Kentucky Governor's
Mansion
Around
one hundred of my closest friends joined me at the Kentucky
Governor's Mansion to help me celebrate my first solo
release in over ten years.

5, 2006 - The Governor's Derby State Dinner in Frankfort,
KY
For
the second year in a row I've been fortunate to be able
to offer the invocation for the Governor's Derby State
Dinner by singing The Lord's Prayer. The event is held
in the rotunda of the Capitol building in Frankfort,
Kentucky.

1, 2006 - The Celebration of Hope in Frankfort, KY
For
the last ten years Kentucky's first lady has hosted
the annual Celebration of Hope, an event that celebrates
Kentucky's breast cancer survivors and encourages others
to be aware of the reality of the disease. I was honored
to perform at this year's event.

I
had the opportunity to host a special event and share
a bit of my story with several of the attendees to this
year's GMA Week in Nashville.

What
a thrill it was for me to be able to sing and serve
as master-of-ceremonies for the Governor's Prayer Breakfast
in Frankfort, Kentucky.

The
first state outside of Kentucky that the Bishops sang
in was Ohio. I had a fantastic time visiting with old
friends there.

Mark
Crary invited me up to southern Ohio for a couple of
days of singing and sharing. We had a fantastic and
sweet service at the Cornerstone Community Church in
Franklin, Ohio.

2 , 2005 - Aberdeen, NC
I
was invited to come share my story and some songs with
the folks at the Aberdeen Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Pastor Warwick and the congregation there celebrated
fifty-five years of service to the community.

One
of the real honors of my career has been to be a part
of this event. Over $40,000 was raised to assist the
American Red Cross with their hurricane relief efforts.
