Los
Angeles & Hollywood
Better
be prepared. Life is more expensive on the west coast.
But if you go in the middle of February the weather
is worth every penny. The people were very nice too,
and I look forward to my next visit this spring.

New
York City
The
city never sleeps, and there's always plenty to do and
see in NYC. As many pictures as I took, there is still
much more that I just didn't have time to get to. I'll
be going back to finish what I started.

Salt
Lake City
It
was an unexpected flight layover that allowed me to
visit one of the country's most controversial and beautiful
religious landmarks in this town settled between the
big mountains and salty, inland waters of Utah.

|
San
Francisco
The
bay area of northern California is exciting, entertaining,
historic and beautiful. My mid June visit proved cool
days and chilly nights, but lots of excitement and good
food.

Sioux
Falls
It's
native American territory in this part of South Dakota.
I didn't have an opportunity to take a lot of pictures,
but I did get to see the falls that hold the namesake
of the city.

Knoxville
Knoxville,
Tennessee is only a couple of hours away form home for
me. And as many times as I've been there, I'd never
stopped to pose with the big golden ball that was the
centerpiece to the 1982 World's Fair.

Little
Rock
Most
folks paid little attention to the goings on in the
state of Arkansas until a two-term president made his
way from its humble parts to the pinnacle of US politics.
Now the city of Little Rock enjoys many thousands of
tourists each year to enjoy its rich and very diverse
history and story.

|
Miami
Sun,
water, sand, food, fashion and lots of laying back are
all a part of the south Florida experience. I should've
taken more pictures, but I was too busy doing nothing.
|
|
Alaska
No
place I've ever been has moved me or inspired me as
much as the grand and calming state of Alaska. I've
only seen the tourist parts, but that was enough to
change my view of God as a creator.

Oklahoma
City
The
maddening tragedy of the 1995 Oklahoma City terrorist
bombing is enshrined for everyone to remember and acknowledge
at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum in
the middle of Oklahoma and our nation.

|
Lexington
There's
no place like home. Lexington, Kentucky is not a big
city (population a little over half a million), but
it is large enough to enjoy a great diversity of people
and cultures in the middle of the "Horse Capitol
of the World." We're within one day's driving time
of 75% of the country's population.
