A Time of Celebration in the Kentucky Governor's Mansion
FRANKFORT, KY— Daywind Recording artist Kenny Bishop performed songs from the release of his self-titled debut project at the Kentucky Governor’s Mansion in Frankfort on Wednesday, May 17, 2006. During a time of celebration, Kenny lifted spirits with a refreshing testimony and songs of God’s marvelous grace and mercy. Among those in attendance to celebrate this special occasion were Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher, his staff, and Kenny’s co-workers and friends.

“My life has been touched by so many beautiful people. The joy of seeing so many of them in the place I spend so many hours was heartwarming and special to me. The Governor and First Lady made everyone feel so at home. Standing in such a historic place and singing about grace is something I can’t imagine I’ll forget anytime soon. I’m blessed abundantly,” stated Kenny.

The ten-song collection includes toe-tapping tunes such as “Lord, Have Mercy” and “God Is Looking At My Heart,” as well as soulful ballads “More Than Amazing” and “Out Of Mercy’s Way.”

Kenny is currently touring on the weekends and is booked through the Tana Lonon Agency, www.tanalononagency.com. His first single “The Prodigal’s Dad,” written by Jeff Steele, is playing on radio stations around the world. Daywind Records is based in Hendersonville, TN, and is distributed worldwide through New Day Christian Distribution.
