KENNY BISHOP LAUNCHES NEW AUDIO PODCAST
LEXINGTON, KY - Christian recording artist Kenny Bishop has taken his work a step further with the launch of his new audio podcast. The weekly program will feature short but poignant thoughts on what Kenny calls, "the things that make a difference in the world."

"I'm a writer and a journaler," Bishop said. "I'm constantly jotting down thoughts about anything that comes to mind. Sometimes I use lots of paper to rant to myself, to get things off my chest. Other times the thoughts are deeper, sometimes controversial, but most always enlightening."

The Kenny Bishop Audio Podcast is available directly by logging onto http://kenebishop.libsyn.com/. After listening, listeners can post comments, or their own thoughts on what they hear. The podcasts can also be accessed through iTunes at http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=266100999. iTunes members can subscribe to the podcast to receive the regular weekly programs. "Most of us are settled in our view of the Scriptures, but I hope to expose all of us to the Bible's view of us. I don't intend to spread ideas that are unbiblical or heretical, but I'm really convinced there are things yet to be discovered we can explore," Bishop said.

Bishop says he also plans to use the podcast to challenge Christians who've taken a hands-off approach to social and environmental issues. "As Believers, we have the opportunity to add our voices to the discussion on not only the obvious things like faith and Scripture, but other things that should matter to us like politics, relationships, world hunger and the environment. I'm hoping I can expose Believers to take note of the Bible's mandate to be even more than soul winners."

Bishop says most of the script for his audio podcast will be taken from his regular journal and devotional writings on his web site, www.kennybishop.com.
